[OS X TeX] Update: TeXShop hanging when typesetting document

I've solved the problem described in my previous posting (and  
repeated below).

The problem files all included the line:

\input mymacros.tex

and changing this to:

\input{mymacros.tex}

solved the problem. I still don't know why the files typeset OK from  
the command line and not from TeXShop.
