[OS X TeX] formula with words

Try this:

\( \mathrm{MPS} = \left\{\frac{(\mathrm{Skill\ Variety} + \mathrm{Task 
\ Identity} + \mathrm{Task\ Significance})}{3} \right\} \times \mathrm 
{Autonomy} \times \mathrm{Feedback} \)

You can replace \( \) by \[ \] or \begin{equation} \end{equation},  
depending on how you want the equation to be among the rest of the  
text. Also, if it's ok for the words to be in italic, you can remove  
\mathrm{} from the formula.
