[OS X TeX] Installing PSTricks

This can be due to using pdftex – the PSTricks make it necessary that  
you use "old" latex, that you enable the execution of TeX external  
scripts or programmes, that you run latex more than once, and that  
you convert the DVI output to PDF. Which programme did you use? (For  
TeXShop an "engine," a specialised shell script, ps4pdf, is available.)

I do not recognise {\gray blah blah} as a PSTricks command. If you  
just want to make your text colourful, check (x)color.sty!  
Documentation available via 'texdoc xcolor' ... and it works with pdf 
(la)tex.
