However, the second paragraphs I don't understand. You want to create
appendices in which the tables are collected? Is "Table 1.x" the name of
the appendix? What is the "x"?

I also failed to understand the above. Do you mean you have an appendix
belonging to a chapter, and you don't want the tables to float into the
appendix? In that case look up placeins.sty and \FloatBarrier.
