Forgetfulness is okay - it happens, you know! :-)

Depends: If you didn't install the cm-super package then yes, you'll
get bitmap fonts for CMR in the T1 encoding.

I don't recall why the monotype metrics were pulled from ctan. Anybody?

(La)TeX support.
