[OS X TeX] SVG to LaTeX?

Use Ross' method and from ImageMagick convert: \immediate\write18 
{convert mypicture.svg  mypicture.pdf}%

Svg2pdf seems to be part of cairo (http://cairographics.org/), a  
recent addition to X11. I am not sure how many MB one might need to  
download, out-pack, configure, compile, and install ...
