I agree.

In fact, nobody is forced to read anything. In fact, nobody is forced to 
receive this list.

I am constantly amazed at how ready many people are to censor.  But then 
this has absolutely nothing to do with TeX. Or does it? Maybe the 
Microsoft list is better managed.
