Is there a way to use an applescript to change preferences in bibdesk
w/o going through the preferences pane? What I'm getting at is this:
I use multiple bib files and need to store their pdf's in different
locations. So far, I resort to manually changing the location in the
preferences when I open the bib file but when I forget to do that, it
creates havoc in my filing system. I'd like to have something close
to one-click way to change file locations... I know, it's only two
clicks to get to the preferences to make the change, but I don't want
to go through multiple panes every time.

Is it possible?
