This should be:

	sudo -H updmap-sys --enable Map etruscan.map

and the MAP file fragment should be put into /usr/local/teTeX/share/
texmf.local/fonts/map/dvips/archaic (it's a whole series of many
fonts). And since you've changed the contents of the systematic trees
you need to run after this change and *before* you create the MAP
files 'sudo -H texhash.'

So the sequence is:

	1) put the font files in their target directories
	2) put the (La)TeX files in their target directories
	3) put the MAP file fragments in their target directories
	4) create the new ls-R hash files
	5) run updmap-sys

(Since when exist and from where come the 'archaic' PFB files? I was
thinking of mapping the CODE200? TrueType fonts or converting them
partially to PS Type 1 ...)
