You might want to try the "Keynote + LaTeXiT" combination. You can
simply cut and paste your codes for the equations from your article
and paste it in LaTeXiT to compile.

I used prosper package for 2+ years before and started using Keynote +
LaTeXiT not too long ago and never looked back.
