This is a bloody hack. There is no X Window Manager running, no  
decoration visible. And every time xdvi needs to be launched again,  
the whole X server is also launched.

The cure is to have X11 already running, for example on another  
virtual desktop. And if someone needs a perfect integration of Aqua  
world with X11 I have written last winter a suite of shell scripts  
that are buried inside a Platypus application. It sets up some  
invisible files, preserving the old ones by adding a time stamp to  
their names. It even adds some entries to the X11 commands/ 
applications menu.
