[OS X TeX] BibDesk question

I frequently need to do this. A solution is to enter a cite command in 
the note field (Reprinted in \cite{smith2001}.) This will generate the 
item in the bibliography, but it requires an extra run of LaTeX+BibTeX 
to get everything in place.
