[OS X TeX] Re: Powerdot

I have been using powerdot for about 15 months now.
You don't need to fuss with the dtx. Just download the zip file  
containing all the powerdot stuff, unzip it and put the powerdot  
folder in ~/Library/texmf/tex/latex

While you're about it, get also the xkeyval package the same way.

You should also have a fairly recent installation of TeX, since  
powerdot relies on some packages that should be recent enough (the  
required versions are clearly stated in the documentation).
