[OS X TeX] Small italic caps & pxfonts?

You need to install one. I believe the new OpenType version of Palatino  
bundled with Windows 2000 and later has italic small caps.

(I'd however suggest using mathpazo instead of pxfonts --- I believe  
the latest fpl variant for mathpazo has italic small caps as well ---  
even if you install the Linotype Palatino for text, the mathpazo math  
fonts are better)
