[OS X TeX] gap in the e-mails or bug in mail.app?

There hasn't been any down time on the listserver. In addition,  
several email messages were sent to the list during that time (I see  
about 9 messages sent to the list during that time).

Might it be a spam filter implemented by your ISP?
