I think 10.2 already had bash and 10.1 had zsh. Both have sh. /etc/profile
or something like it has always been there. But initially I only patched
te PATH for the default shell.

Furthermore, somewhere inbetween the setup for tcsh was minimized (because
large paths make the Mac slow) and it was not in /etc/csh.login but
somewhere in /usr/share first.
