From my installation on Friday I can cite (somehow the re-generated
report gets visibly clipped when being printed to a file, but when I
cite off Preview the missing parts are visible again --):

	fmtutil: running `pdfetex -ini -jobname=pdflatex -progname=pdflatex
-translatefile=cp227.tcx *pdflatex.ini' ...
This is pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.30.3-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.5) (INITEX)
	  (/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/web2c/cp227.tcx)
	entering extended mode
	(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.gwtex/tex/latex/config/pdflatex.ini
	(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.local/tex/generic/config/
pdftexconfig.tex)
	(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/tex/latex/base/latex.ltx
	(/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.tetex/tex/latex/base/texsys.cfg) [more
output]
