[OS X TeX] OT: Choice between Panther and Tiger

Furthermore, if you do a clean install like I did, you have to use
the Import Mailboxes function under the file menu. You then select
Mail for Mac OS X and then you have to point it to your old mail
folder wherever you have stored it . In my case, the old mailboxes
were backed up to a CD, and it imported them with no problem directly
from the CD. It does not work to just simply move your old mailboxes
into the new Mail folder as it once did. If you do that, the mail
boxes appear in the sidebar, but they also appear to be empty.

I've had no problems with anything since I have upgraded. I like the
new preview module in TeXShop. The synchronization feature works
beautifully without distorting the layout of the document (i.e,
making it longer), and it now displays hyper-references. Alas, my
old Titanium powerbook isn't fast enough to use the text editor with
syntax coloring turned on. I wonder if anyone is working on a similar
synchronization mechanism between BBEdit and the TeXShop previewer.
