[OS X TeX] Man and info pages in gwTeX

Many thanks for the info. Thus it seems what should be done is adding  
to this file, or to a similar file if there can be several such  
files, the entry:

MANPATH_MAP    /usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin-current/    / 
usr/local/teTeX/man/

But it seems there's also a conflict between the default in this file:

MANPATH_MAP    /usr/local/bin        /usr/local/share/man

and the structure used by gwTeX which would require:

MANPATH_MAP    /usr/local/bin        /usr/local/man

It's amusing to note man.conf also contains reference to TeX, but  
apparently to a TeX of a different kind:

#MANPATH /opt/teTeX/man
