[OS X TeX] makeidx error

To be honest, Im  NOT a TeXpert :")

Anyhow, I found the apacite - makeidx thing by trial & error (and a 
zillion typesettings); but I believe that with makeidx you could make 
several indices; so probably also separate author & general indices, 
but it'd certainly be more painful than using apacite..
