Is diphosphate-phosphohydrolase really a common word in Dutch? I would  
never have guessed ;-)

Well, almost \renewcommand but at a somewhat different level.

This allows words like diphosphate-phosphohydrolase to hyphenate
automatically but only with the T1-encoding.
