you don't get this by every second TeX user, but I attached the report,
maybe you can find something in it.

I did:

### tex.configure: This script needs convert.pe to be available in the
package. Conversion stopped.

this is a problem I have seen before and it has to do with changed set
id's (when the new package appeared a while back there were some probems
form the same origin).

The problem is that somehow i-Installer does not detect that it needs the
package internal-file convert.pe for tex.configure so it has not been
downloaded. I haven't had time to investigate this fully, but it is a bug
in i-Installer which appears when one changes a package such that old
set-id's are not valid anymore (the internal structure of the i-Package
has changed and thus saved settings do not apply anymore)

A reset to default properties *of the package* should work (because it
removes your previous set-id selections) if I recall correctly. And using
the inspect view to inspect both convert.pe and lmcreatefamilies.pe should
definitely work.

Could your try that out for me? Here is how:

1. Inspect convert.pe and lmcreatefamilies.pe (Inspect view)
2. Try again (run the configure stage)
3. Remove convert.pe from the inside of your i-Package (inspect view,
delete menu item)
4. Reset the package to default properties
5. Remove "/Library/Fonts/Latin Modern"
6. Try again (configure stage, convert.pe should be downloaded)
