[OS X TeX] Safari and MathML

Before Mac OS X there were plug-ins for Netscape or Mozilla available. 
They came from IBM. Now there is XML everywhere, and MathML is a part 
of it, isn't it? Wouldn't then an XML viewer be sufficient?
