I worked up an AppleScript to accomplish this a while back (basing it 
on one which would make a .html page of a folder's contents). Got hung 
up on a nice way to do icons though and stopped. I can dig up the 
AppleScript and the (Plain) TeX code probably if you want.

Since then though it's a moot point since there's the free program 
PrintWindow from Searchware Solutions:

http://swssoftware.com/products/printwindow/

There is an option to register for more features, but I find the basic 
set fine.
