\iftextures? (was: [OS X TeX] \colordvi in plain tex)

\ifpdf I know about: it is defined in ifpdf.sty. But how do you define 
\iftextures?

After googling, the only things I saw are class options that set 
\iftextures. Is there an automatic way?
