[OS X TeX] BibDesk and Unicode (was: BibTeX problems)

This seems to work fine (for me at least) but the preview doesn't get 
the UTF-8 characters right...

Is the preview generated internally of through a LaTeX engine? If the 
latter is the case, \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} should do the trick.
