[OS X TeX] no intelligent undo after forward-delete in TeXShop

Hello,
I recently noticed that undo works only character by character, if  
you used forward-delete to delete them. With backwards-delete one can  
undo whole words.
Can someone confirm this? Is this intended behavior?
