Howdy,

I must have missed the original post. Is there some reason you can't use the
latex+ghostscript option (altpdflatex) in TeXShop/iTeXMac/etc? That goes
through dvips and then is converted into pdf. Works fine with things that
use pstricks or other ps kinds of things that pdflatex doesn't support.
