[OS X TeX] BibDesk 0.97.5 v JabRef

The improvements to BibDesk are quite visible and welcome; I no longer
get thousands of errors when attempting to open a .bib file. However,
it still doesn't seem to handle crossrefs and macros defined in another
file, which is a standard way of organising references when you have
thousands of them (especially, papers published in conferences). Is
there any prospect of this?

For the time being, I'm continuing to use JabRef,
http://jabref.sourceforge.net/: it is far less Mac-like, but its BibTeX
support is unmatched.
