The Seagate Momentus 5400.2 100GB ST9100823A has 5,400 RPM, 8 MB cache, 
and a bit density of 85 Gb/in² -- no wonder that it exhibits such a 
good performance. It is in the same class as the Fujitsu MHU2100AT. 
Just a few grams heavier ...

Seagate claims that the disk can have almost 50 MB/sec peak internal 
data transfer rate -- that's 400 Mbits/sec or FireWire 400 level! (Big 
mistake writing 400 MB/sec first)
