[OS X TeX] $MANPATH (again??)

IIRC you should use the manpath program and its config file to specify 
the manpath nowadays. Try 'man manpath' for more information.
I would prefer

export MANPATH=/usr/local/man/:$MANPATH

in my .profile instead of your alias but i guess its obsolet.
