[OS X TeX] parts in fancyhdr?

Hi all --

Yes, I gathered as much: \chaptermark and \markboth would have to be 
refined. The only thing is, I do not know how. If I put \thepart in it, 
nothing seems to happen.

I have read fncyhdr.psf and the Latex Companion twice, but I guess I'm 
just too stupid.
