[OS X TeX] TeXshop and the glyph palette

This is a small bit of a message I just sent to the xetex list --- I
believe discussion of it is more appropriate here though.

  - TeXshop 1.35e and the glyph palette (accessed via the menu ``Edit |
Special Characters...'' ) --- This used to work, allowing one to
double-click to insert arbitrary characters, but doesn't now. Glad it
didn't break when I was doing Candy Yiu's and Dr. Wong's paper.

Any ideas on what happened here? I've resorted to putting them in in
TextEdit.app and copy-pasting.

It's nice to have not just for CJK (for us un-educated people who have
forgotten most of the 500 characters they learned) but also for special
Unicode characters such as the small ampersand or vulgar/case/pi
fractions when using XeTeX or Omega or Aleph.

William
(who will try iTeXmac again as soon as there's another lull here at
work ;)
