[OS X TeX] adding an own map file in TL2004

Yes, use the updmap script, depending on the type of Map:



Putting it in pdftex.cfg was always a bad option. But you do remind me
there is an issue here, because in some cases you want a map file
available in pdftex but not in dvips. I'll check this and get back to you.
