[OS X TeX] Booklet package

Hi all,
I've begun using LaTex some days ago and I find it great to get a proper
layout for many txt files I had to print with a nice table of contents
and nice look.
Now I wanted to print a booklet of a little paper I wrote.
I looked in the CTAN web site and in the list archives and I've found
these two packages that could help me out:
twoup and booklet.

I decided to try the booklet package and after reading the manual I
began to work on the document settings.
I think I get everything right (also thanks to the examples provided),
but the page orientation is always wrong...
The page is still oriented as a normal A4 paper is printed (vertically)
and I can't let the orientation change.
I tried changing the landscape and portrait parameters, but there aren't
any changes...

I looked for information in the list archives and other sources, but I
couldn't yet get over this problem.

I am sure I am making a stupid error and I am sorry to post a dumb
question, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Michael
