Colleagues may want to try JabRef, http://jabref.sourceforge.net/, for
managing .bib files. Browsing, re-ordering and searching your BibTeX
files becomes much easier. There are some rough edges, e.g. the Delete
key appears to delete the current entry being edited, and you can't
open a file by drag-and-drop. However, the potential is great.

It completely rewrites your .bib file, so avoid if you care about how
it looks at the ASCII level. Also, comments made using % (which I
believe are unsupported anyway) will disappear.
