texmf.cnf.tl2004 is not the place to look. The place to look for  
ENCFONTS was mentioned in an earlier post by me.

This report is empty. A eport is most useful to produce after you have  
finished your install.

But something useful is here:

At least you have put stuff in ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist

Don't.

The PATH should look like this:

PATH=/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/Volumes/Data/Users/gedalin

Your PATH for GUI apps is broken. There is no way for me to predict  
what can go wrong inside TeX administrative tools with a PATH like  
this.

There are many other things that can go wrong on your system with a  
environment setting like this as well.
