[OS X TeX] XeTeX - Texshop bug?

Perhaps trashing TeXShop.plist would fix it. And, after relaunching it, 
is the Default Encoding in Preferences set to UTF-8? Or maybe the 
following would work for you, I hope.

1. Quit TeXShop if it is running.

2. Launch Terminal and execute the following command.

defaults write TeXShop Encoding "UTF-8 Unicode"

3. Drop a file in utf-8 on TeXShop icon in Dock.


The file you dropped on its icon, is it really encoded in UTF-8? You 
can verify it by opening it with another application supporting utf-8, 
e.g. TextEdit, SubEthaEdit.
