Gary Gray's Tools page at <http://www.esm.psu.edu/mac-tex/tools.html> 
mentions a FileMaker bibliographic database, and I suspect there are 
probably others. The latest FileMaker Pro is OS X-native (but alas not 
free!), so with it you should have an OS X solution to your problem.

I haven't used FileMaker for years, so I don't know exactly how it's 
like now, but in the mid-90s I managed the organisation of a scientific 
conference with it and it was a pleasure to use it.
