[OS X TeX] ITeXMac 1.2b4 -> 1.2RC2

Howdy,

I reported on some problems I was having in making the transition from
iTeXMac 1.2b4 to 1.2RC2 with even viewing the .tex text file. By removing
the preference file (comp.text.tex.iTeXMac.plist) from ~/Library/Preferences
I am now able to view text files; is there a conflict in the way b4 and RC2
stores preferences?

Unfortunately I am not able to Compile or Typeset files. The generic
pdflatex project is selected and when I bring it up for viewing in a window
everything is correct but I get a "compiling (null) with (null)" at the
bottom of the window. Is there some environment variable that needs
resetting between b4 and RC2? Am I having problems with permissions? This
occurs even if I let RC2 rebuild the projects and generic projects folders
in the ~/Library/Application Support/iTeXMac/ folder.

Do other folks have RC2 up and running?

I'd appreciate any help I can get. I've gotten back to TeX after several
years away and really like it under OS X. The great work done by GW on the
TeXLive-teTeX distribution and by LJ on iTeXMac is really appreciated.
Great things all the way around.

Good Luck,
