[lucida] Getting LaTeX to recognise Lucida

I am using TLC2 (fptex), and have bought and installed the TUG
Lucida-complete package in texmf-local. I have run mktexlsr. After running
pdfLaTeX or LaTeX on the Lucida-sample.tex file, the resulting pdf or dvi
files however contain no reference to Lucida. Acrobat substitutes Helvetica
when attempting to display.

I note there is a CTAN Lucida package: does this also need to be installed?
