<div>Dear Will and all,</div>
<div>I've managed to make lualatex compile a document using fontspec (under win32 using Akira Kakuto's W32TEX + all recently uploaded packages). </div>
<div>However on the same document, xelatex now hangs with the following error message:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>! Undefined control sequence.<br><argument> ..._mode_tl {node}\luatexprehyphenchar <br> =`\-\luatexposthyphenchar ...<br>l.68 ...nt = {Futura Std Bold}]{Futura Std Medium}<br>
<br>? </div>
<div> </div>
<div>The previous Fontspec compiles perfectly the same document.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks all for your hard work on making Luatex available for Latex.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Best wishes</div>
<div>Jacques</div>

(Apologies to those who get this message twice.)<br>
<br>Previous users of fontspec will be familiar with the process, but there are some changes in fontspec for LuaLaTeX compared to its XeLaTeX counterpart. For those interested, I've written about the biggest changes here: <<a onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)" href="http://latex-alive.tumblr.com/post/643148677/fontspec-for-luatex" target="_blank">http://latex-alive.tumblr.com/post/643148677/fontspec-for-luatex</a>><br>
<br>To date, there has been very little testing of the new version of fontspec, especially with OpenType font loading in LuaTeX. Any testing you would like to perform would be greatly appreciated, especially running the mkluatexfontdb script in the luaotfload package and then attempting to access system fonts in LuaLaTeX with fontspec.<br>
<br>(E.g., \usepackage{fontspec}...\setmainfont{Georgia} )<br><br>Suggestions and (especially) bug reports most appreciated.<br><br>Many thanks,<br><span class="sg">-- Will<br><br><br></span></blockquote></div><br>
