I just wanted to inform all people who use bidi that the new version of TeXMaker has fine support for bidi. So if you always have had issues to find a good bidi editor, now you can easilly write your bidi input TeX files with the new version of TeXMaker.

Please have a look at http://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/index.html

As you probably know I am now developing the bidi package, I rewrote all bidi all again and I am planning torelease the experimental bidi package as soon as berlios accepts to host it. So I will write to you in few days about it and you can test it to see if your old documents work ok with this new version of bidi. I also plan to support LuaTeX bidi in the bidi package because I think having one package that supports several engines is better than having several packages. This means the commands that you use in XeTeX with the bidi package will remain the same when you use LuaTeX.
