well, I don't know if I'm able with mips and if eventually will be ok
for Kip but I've done a similar job for armel and I would like to try.

yes, it seems so --- I don't have the input and I'm running a 32bit
linux box. Quite improbable that I'm able to reproduce the bug, but
I'm always suspected of a seg. fault --- they are so rare in tex
implementations
