I have an ``old'' LuaTeX (beta-0.71.0-2012043007 (rev 4389)) which shows
the black box, but the most recent one (beta-0.73.0-2012121417 (rev 4523))
doesn't (both with TL2011); so perhaps the problem has really been
fixed, except TL is not 100% up to date.
