\font\test1=file:AdobeArabic-Regular.ttf:mode=node;script=arab;language=ara;+init;+medi;+fina;+liga;+rlig;+mark;+mkmk

I think those are the essential features, but you man want to turn
on/off other features according to the font, also you can replace
the value of 'language=ara' with 'far', 'urd' etc. though it is unlikely
to make any difference with 99% of Arabic fonts, you can also use
'dflt'. Generally you have to experiment a bit with the font to get the
features you want.
