IMO, yes, but not until everyone had a look at the list of incompatible changes
and express their opinion on this point, see my other message. (Again, was it
that hard to wait for me to wait that message?)

Sure. I just wanted to point out that the code was working in other situations,
so that this bug doesn't mean the code was completely untested.

Sometimes it's necessary to "shake things" as you say, sometimes it isn't. This
time, IMO, it wasn't necessary at all: I thought I made it quite clear by
explicitly stating that I'l act upon your report soon and I planned to be as
active as necessary until the TL10 "deadline". Now we've lost time and energy,
uselessly IMO, not to mention personal attacks.
