I hope that this is the right place to post this.  I work in I/T support and have a couple of users who are having trouble with pstoimg.  Everything I have found online about pstoimg talks about latex2html.

The problem is this.  When this command is run, 

pstoimg -type png img009.ps

The following output is returned.

pstoimg V2002-2-1 (Revision 1.19, Perl 5.010001)
pstoimg: Processing img009.ps
pstoimg: Error: "/usr/bin/ppmquant 256 < /tmp/p59938.pnm | /usr/bin/pnmtopng  > img009.png" failed: 

Has anyone seen this error message before?  I am running RHEL 6.3 x86_64, and it is the 2.6.32-279.2.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP kernel.  Any assistance would be appreciated.
