This is what I'm doing since I saw the problem.

That's the reason why I submitted the bug report to  the Debian project.
latex2html is a great tool and I personally think a great tool has to be
robust.
As this is a known issue, I let you chose to change that behavior or
keep it according to what you expect the project to be.
