[l2h] Math sub-expressions

I'm using "-nomath -html_version 3.2,math" to make my equations,
which makes a textual representation where possible, with images
of sub-expressions
(see http://www-texdev.mpce.mq.edu.au/l2h/docs/manual/Enode5_ct.html).

However, I don't really like the textual representation, since the
text looks somewhat different, and the sub/superscripts don't line up
correctly in my browser (many browsers?). (see discussion at
http://www-texdev.mpce.mq.edu.au/l2h/mathdocs/mathdocs/node4.html)

I've tried using \htmlimage{} to force images of the whole equation,
but I don't quite like that behavior either (seems like the alignment
of equations is somehow wrong, or at least different, when I do this).

So, what I would really like is some way to force creation of images
for all of the sub-expressions in my equations. Is this possible?

Thanks,

-Mike
